Alaina Stiles, the dental provider at Jerauld County Dental Clinic, presented at Springs Area Community Club (SACC) on Tuesday afternoon.
Alaina spoke of growing up in central Pennsylvania, not far from Groundhog Phil, in Curwensville. She always knew she wanted to work in rural healthcare but appreciated the sense of community Wessington Springs had to offer when interning in September of 2022.
Stiles went to Penn State University as a Food Science major and continued her education at the University of Minnesota for Dental School.
Rest assured, she stated, “Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be converting to a Jack Rabbit fan anytime soon.” Rooted strong in Penn State football Stiles’ whole family attended the university.
Stiles looks forward to being part of the community and serving Wessington Springs’ dental needs.
She also shared with the group, “If you see someone walking a yellow lab around town named ‘Leroy’ feel free to say hello!”
