South Dakota Picnic in Florida Celebrates 70 Years
The 70th annual SD Picnic in Florida will be held February 24, 2024 at 12 p.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Lakeland, FL. All former South Dakotans, either permanent or seasonal residents are invited to attend with their family.
The South Dakota Picnic will be held indoors in the Grace Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Parking and fellowship hall entrance is at the rear of the church building. Please bring a main dish or dessert with enough to share, along with plates and eating utensils for yourself. Serving utensils will be provided, along with soft drinks, water, coffee and tea. There will be no alcoholic beverages served at the SD Picnic.
Please come and enjoy a fun time with fellow South Dakotans to either meet new friends or to catch up with friends known for a lifetime. Be sure to reach out to any South Dakotans you know who are living in Florida in February and let them know about this special time of fun and fellowship. This is the 70th annual SD Picnic — let’s all come out and make this the best SD Picnic ever!
