Storm Brings Eight Inches of Snow, Forces School Closures

Remnants from the early-week storm are shown north of the Jerauld County Courthouse. According to official weather recorder for Springs, Kathy Voorhees, the official totals measure eight inches of snow with .43” moisture. Winds with gusts as high as 50 mph and icy conditions added to the snowfall and road conditions were hazardous. As a result, school was canceled Monday and Tuesday.
