Limited Gala Tickets Available Through Wednesday Evening

Last Chance to Enjoy a Vegas Night Out at “Pitches and Poker”

With the Build Springs Gala just a few nights out, committee members encourage those wishing to attend to purchase tickets or tables by Wednesday evening. Call or text Hilary Grohs at (605) 680-9901 to purchase your tickets or with any questions.

Dress up (or down) as you would if you were headed out for a night of fun in the Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas. All funds raised Saturday, September 21 support baseball complex improvements in Wessington Springs Saturday. The entertainment-filled night will be held at the newly constructed Rec Center.

A night filled with Vegas action

The top of the line up for the night consists of social hour from 6-7 p.m. and on deck is supper, catered by Sweet Grass. During the seventh inning stretch, don’t forget your cash and checkbooks so you can win a chance to hit the jackpot during the dessert dash and enjoy interactive games dealt by your Springs Owls players. The fun rolls right along — make sure you’re not the first to fold and go all in during the live auction.

Prepare to laugh and interact with comedy trivia

The headline entertainment for the night begins at 9 p.m. with trivia comedian, John Cosgrove. Cosgrove has been a master of ceremonies and trivia game show host for live events for the past 18 years. This Irishman uses his quick wit, sense of humor and great voice to create a fun atmosphere where everyone has fun from start to finish.

No ballpark hot dogs at this event

Calling all bakers and fancy dessert makers. Throw on your aprons and use your imagination to come up with baseball-themed desserts. If willing to donate to the “fancy dessert” auction, contact Julie Bruckner at (605) 216-7288 or Julie.r.bruckner@k12.sd.us.
