Tuesday, I got lots of birthday cards ready and sent them to family members. I enjoyed the pork dinner and ice cream from the Manor kitchen.

Wednesday Kathy Larson was hostess for our 9 a.m. coffee. I didn’t get to go – I was so dizzy the nurse came and got me and took me to the emergency room. My daughter Candi Sails came to be with me. Dr. Lim checked on me and said I need to drink more water because I was dehydrated. I will be going to Jen Jensen for physical therapy.

Thursday, I rode the bus to Angie Mentzer’s beauty shop for my 10:30 a.m. appointment. Rhonda LePage drove the bus. I enjoyed the beef tips on rice and pudding dessert from the Manor kitchen. At 2:30 p.m. I went to Jen Jensen for physical therapy.

Friday, I enjoyed the hot beef, corn and apple crisp from the Senior Center delivered by Jim Dienes. Friday night I watched the Blackhawks play the Chamberlain Cubs at 7 p.m. on the school channel. The Blackhawks won big 32-0.

Saturday my daughter Cathy Cuppy White of Sioux Falls, called at 10 a.m. Her daughter Nora was playing in the Lincoln School Band. I enjoyed the hot dog, mac & cheese, stewed tomatoes and peach sauce from the Manor kitchen.

I didn’t go to the Methodist Church Sunday morning. I felt so dizzy. I enjoyed the roast pork dinner and pie from the Manor kitchen. Elaine Roetman stopped in the afternoon with the church bulletin and visited for a while.

Deion Sails and children Athena Skye and True James spent the weekend with his parents Candi and Leon Sails. Monday morning they came to visit me. I was a little late calling for Delia to pick up my news since I spent the morning visiting.

“Be truly glad. There is a wonderful joy ahead.”
