Local talent, Turtle Peak Band and Friends to Headline
All are invited to attend the annual Music in the Garden kicking off this Thursday, July 10, at Shakespeare Garden in Wessington Springs starting at 7 p.m.
This week’s featured music comes from the Turtle Peak Band, a group made of local teens who love music.
The band is led by the eldest member Carter Gaikowski on bass and lead vocals. Joining Carter are two of his siblings, Nathan on guitar and Madilyn on keyboard with background vocals. They are also joined by their cousin Rylan Fagerhaug on guitar and vocals.
To round out the sound they also have Will Jackson on drums and his brother Holden on guitar.
This young family band loves to play a mix of classic country with a bit of classic rock sprinkled in.
Attendees are reminded to bring lawn chairs to the event. In case of inclement weather, the 1905 Opera House serves as the backup location. For more information, call (206) 2513558.
