As the holiday season shifts into high gear, a host of events are set to ignite holiday spirit in this part of the South Dakota prairie.
New this year, Wessington Springs Chamber and Development (WSACD) is launching a holiday decorating contest, “Bright Nights, Small Town Lights” for both residential and business categories. More details can be found in this week’s print and e-edition on PAGE TEN
Jerauld County employees invite area businesses, individuals and school classes to decorate a tree, wreath or train display to help celebrate Christmas at the Courthouse. The county open house will be held December 13 from 2-4 p.m.
