I wrote my Cuppy’s Corner News Monday morning. Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon. I enjoyed the shrimp dinner and cake from the Manor kitchen. In the evening, I watched the Minnesota Twins play against the Detroit Tigers. Detroit won 6-3.
Tuesday, my daughter Cheryl Van Asperen of Huron stopped in to visit. She had been to golf with her friend Joyce Krueger. I enjoyed the fried chicken dinner and peach sauce from the Manor kitchen. At 5:30 p.m. the Minnesota Twins played the Detroit Tigers, the Twins won 6-3.
Wednesday, August 6, Joyce Mees was hostess for our 9 a.m. coffee. She had colorful plates and napkins. She served a delicious lemon bar and party mix. Enjoying the food and fellowship were Lorraine Schultz, Darleen Cuppy, Luella Teveldal, Kathy Brandenburg, and Judy Baumgart. I enjoyed the spaghetti dinner and pudding from the Manor kitchen. Then I watched the Minnesota Twins play the Detroit Tigers. The Twins won 9-4.
Thursday, I enjoyed the Philly beef sandwich dinner and pudding from the Manor kitchen. My granddaughter Carlie Bell of Mitchell stopped in with a bouquet of sunflowers. She is the daughter of Brian and Julie Bell and has a sister Berklie. I enjoy sunflowers so much!
Friday at 11:30 a.m. Sierra York met with me for Home Health. My granddaughter Becky Bell Krueger came to be with me. Later Becky got my dinner from the Senior Center. Marla Ness is a good cook. In the evening, I watched the Minnesota Twins play against the Kansas City Royals. The Twins won 9-4.
Saturday forenoon our Cuppy family met at the Field House in the park for potluck dinner. Attending were Grandma Dar, Cheryl and Craig Van Asperen of Huron, Becky and Mike Krueger, Rydell and Brock of Wessington Springs, Ryan and Alisa Bell Briggs and Ford of Harrisburg, Darryl and Nancy Cuppy of Harrold, Connie and Jeff Theurer of Rosemount MN, Amber Hudson and boys Trey and Daxton of Rosemount, MN, Amber’s boyfriend Zach also attended, Amy Thurston and Stella Marleen, Emma Marie and Keira Minnie of Rosemount, MN, Carol Collins of Castlewood, Brittany and Trent Luoma and Ezra Jacob and Micah Joseph of Watertown, Ashley Collins and boyfriend Tony Grepp and Payton of Watertown, Cindy Zenk of Webster and Danny, Kaela Jo, Lucas, Owen and Luella Jo of Langford, SD, Cathy White and Ella Darleen and boyfriend Grey Christensen of Sioux Falls (Nora couldn’t come since she had band practice).
