I wrote my Cuppy’s Corner News Monday morning. Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon. I enjoyed the delicious roast beef dinner and cake from the Manor kitchen. There was no Twins game.
Tuesday, I enjoyed the pork sandwich dinner and cheesecake from the Manor kitchen. At 6:30 p.m. the MN Twins played the Athletics. The Athletics won 6-3. My daughter Candi Sails got some things I needed, and she stayed to visit a while.
Wednesday, Judy Baumgart was hostess for our 9 a.m. coffee. She had colorful plates and napkins. She served delicious, glazed donuts. Enjoying the food and fellowship were Joyce Mees, Darleen Cuppy, Lorraine Schultz, and the mail lady. I enjoyed the chicken dinner and ice cream from the Manor kitchen. At 6:30 p.m. I watched the MN Twins play the Athletics. We were tied 2-2 in the 9th inning. The Athletics got 2 in the 10th inning so won 4-2.
Thursday, I rode the bus to Angie Mentzer’s beauty shop for my 10:30 a.m. appointment. I enjoyed the beef tips on rice, peas and cake from the Manor kitchen. Then I watched the MN Twins play the Athletics. Athletics won again 8-3. My daughter Candi Sails came in the evening and did several things for me and stayed to visit a while.
Friday, I enjoyed the chicken noodle hot dish and fruit cobbler from the Manor kitchen. At 6:30 p.m. I watched the MN Twins play the Chicago White Sox. The Twins won 9-7.
Saturday, I enjoyed the Philly beef sandwich and fruit from the Manor kitchen. I got several birthday cards ready to mail to family. In the evening, I watched the MN Twins play the Chicago White Sox. Chicago won 7-3.
Sunday, I didn’t go to church. My left leg hurt so bad – I have an infection in the varicose veins. I did watch Christian Worship Hour with Pastor Salem on TV. I enjoyed the pork roast dinner and pie from the Manor kitchen.
