Twenty-nine teams gathered Sunday, Sept. 7 at the Springs Country Club for the “Holes for Haven” golf tournament, the final tournament of the season at the course.
The 18-hole scramble, which drew teams from across the region, was held in memory of Haven Yost, with proceeds supporting the Haven’s Memory Box project. Organized by Rodney and Erin Yost, the initiative provides grieving parents with handcrafted, engraved memory boxes as a way to honor and remember children lost during pregnancy or at birth. Funds raised will go toward the cost of building and engraving additional memory boxes.
