The Wessington Springs PTO is kicking off Homecoming Week with a lighthearted fundraiser. Starting Sunday evening, PTO homecoming signs will appear in yards around town and stay up through Friday’s parade.
For a $5 donation, locals can move a sign into someone else’s yard. Donations can be made at Springs Food Market or through Venmo (note: when using Venmo, do not select “goods or services”). With six different designs in play, signs are sure to keep moving. Proceeds support PTO projects, and organizers note the activity is meant to be fun, not offensive.
“We love our Spartans and Bucks! Let’s take down the competition all week long,” the PTO said.
