Cecil Wayne Whitlock, 83, of Spearfish, SD passed away on October 22, 2024, at Monument Hospital Rapid City, SD.Cecil was born in Wessington Springs, SD to Raymond and Lillian (Fisher) Whitlock. He served in the US Army and fought for our country in the Vietnam War.

Bruce D. Redl, 91, of Sioux Falls, SD, and Wessington Springs, SD, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, surrounded by his family. Bruce was born in Iroquois, SD, an only child, to Clarence and Gladys (Kasperson) Redl, on his grandparent’s farm.

Juanita Jean Lyon, age 83, of Wessington Springs, passed away peacefully Thursday, September 12, 2024, at Weskota Manor. Memorial services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2024, at Foothills Bible Fellowship Church in Wessington Springs. Visitation was one hour prior to services on Monday.

James R. Ferguson, Jr.

James R. Ferguson Jr. passed away in Mesa, AZ on October 3, 2024.James was born in a military hospital at Ft. Sill, OK on March 28, 2000. He grew up in various places due to being in a military family. He attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in Sioux Falls, SD.

Gloria Vetter, age 68, of Mitchell, died Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2024, at St. Wilfrid Catholic Church in Woonsocket. Burial followed at St. Wilfrid Catholic Cemetery.
