Duane Alan Grieve of Worthington, OH passed away on May 29, 2022 at the age of 70. Duane was born November 26, 1951 to Hollis and LaVaughn (Geiver) Grieve in Wessington Springs, SD. He attended school in Wessington Springs and graduated from WSHS with the class of 1970.

Florence Joy Klein, 85, of Wessington Springs, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022, at Weskota Manor Avera. Florence (Joy) Wenzel was born to Mary and Donald Wenzel, on January 5, 1937 and was the oldest of four children.

Jeffery Lyle Butterfield, 55, was born July 27, 1965, in Wessington Springs, South Dakota to Lyle Butterfield and Karen Knigge. He had lived in North Richland Hills, Texas for the second half of his life. Jeffery passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021, around 7 a.m.

Lawrence H. Pawlowski, uncle of Luanne (Kevin) Thompson of Virgil, died March 12, 2022. A celebration of life with military rites will be held at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Casper, Wyo. at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Fellowship to follow at the church.

Florence Joy Klein, 85, of Wessington Springs passed away Monday evening May 30, 2022 at the Weskota Manor Avera Nursing Home. Her memorial service will be held Monday, June 6, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Basham Funeral Chapel in Wessington Springs. Inurnment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Alvin Gray

Alvin D Gray, son of Milo and Georgia Gray, was born November 27, 1941 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. When Alvin was five, he lost his mother. Milo then married Elda (Redmond) Gray and they raised the two boys in the Wessington Springs area.
