Darleen Cuppy wrote her news Monday morning. Delia Atkinson came to get it later in the forenoon.
Darleen enjoyed the hamburger, onion rings, etc., and her favorite strawberry pretzel dessert from the Manor kitchen. Elaine Roetman brought the Methodist bulletin and stayed to visit awhile. The Minnesota Twins played the Detroit Tigers in the evening and won 9-3.
Darleen Cuppy enjoyed the roast beef dinner from the Manor kitchen Tuesday. Becky Krueger got some things for Grandma Dar. The Minnesota Twins played the Detroit Tigers in the evening. Detroit won 6-0.
Lorraine Schultz was hostess for our 9 a.m. coffee on Wednesday. She served a delicious peach coffeecake. Enjoying the food and fellowship were Darleen Higgins, Vera Salter, Eldora Hasz, Kathy Larson, Luella Teveldal, Pastor Nancy Rieke, Joyce Mees and Darleen Cuppy. Pastor Nancy served Communion.
Cards were played at 2 p.m. in the south dining room. Enjoying the afternoon were Doris Deneke, Joyce Mees, Darleen Higgins, Luella Teveldal, Shirley Bender, Ruth Jensen, Lynette Marken, Lyle Pawlowski, Marlys Shryock and Darleen Cuppy. Delicious chocolate cake made by Lynette Marken and coffee were served.
Wednesday evening the Minnesota Twins played the Detroit Tigers, Detroit won 9-5.
Thursday, Darleen Cuppy rode the bus with Joanne Grohs to Angie Mentzer’s. The Minnesota Twins played the Detroit Tigers at 1 p.m. and the Twins won. Thursday night the Minnesota Vikings played a preseason game in Seattle, Washington with the Seahawks. The Seahawks won 24-13.
Friday Becky Krueger stopped in at Grandma Dar’s and did some errands for her. The Minnesota Twins played the Philadelphia Phillies at 6 p.m. The Phillies won.
Saturday Darleen’s daughter Cindy Zenk of Webster visited with Darleen on the video chat frame in the afternoon.
The Minnesota Twins played the Philadelphia Phillies at 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Twins won 8-1.
Sunday morning Darleen Cuppy watched the Christian Worship Hour with Pastor Salem and the service from Sioux Falls Lutheran Church on TV. Darleen enjoyed the Swiss steak dinner and pie from the Manor kitchen. Joyce Krueger stopped in with the bulletin from Gloria Brockman’s funeral and a thank you note from the Brockman family. Elaine Roetman stopped in with the Methodist Church bulletin. At about 5 p.m. Kyli (Zenk) Deranleau and children Tabor, Tate, Josie, Jimmy, Petey and Vinny visited Grandma Dar. They had spent the weekend at Cindy and Fred Zenk’s and were driving home to Belle Fourche.
