IwrotemynewsMonday morning. Delia Atkinson came to get it later in the forenoon. I enjoyed the noodle hot dish and cake from the Manor kitchen. At 6:30 p.m. the Minnesota Twins played the Seattle Mariners. Seattle won 112.
Tuesday, I enjoyed the fried chicken dinner and cake from the Manor kitchen. At 6:30 p.m. the Minnesota Twins played the Seattle Mariners. The Mariners won 6-5. I went for a walk after the game.
Wednesday Joyce Mees was hostess for our 9 a.m. coffee. She had dark blue plates with red, white and blue napkins. She served delicious caramel rolls and party snack mix. Enjoying the food and fellowship were Luella Teveldal, Darleen Cuppy, Kathy Brandenburg, Lorraine Schultz, and Judy Baumgart. Lorraine made and served the coffee. At 2 p.m. cards were played in the north dining room. Enjoying the dinner were Doris Deneke, Luella Teveldal, Ruth Jensen, Darleen Cuppy, Marilyn Robbins, Shirley Bender and Joyce Mees.
Thursday, I rode the bus to Angie Mentzer’s for a 10:30 a.m. appointment. I enjoyed the Philly beef sandwich, peas and pudding from the Manor kitchen. In the afternoon the Minnesota Twins played the Seattle Mariners. The Twins won big 10-1!
Friday, I enjoyed the pork dinner and pudding from the Manor kitchen. At 6:30 p.m. I watched the Minnesota Twins play the Detroit Tigers. The Twins won 4-1.
Saturday my daughter Candi Sails called from Huron – she was getting supplies for the Cone Zone. I asked her to get several things for me we can’t get in town. I enjoyed the Salisbury steak dinner from the Manor kitchen. The Minnesota Twins played the Detroit Tigers. Detroit Tigers won 10-5.
Sunday, I had a bad headache, so I didn’t go to church. I slept. Later I ate my turkey dinner and pie from the Manor kitchen. Then I watched the Minnesota Twins play the Detroit Tigers. Detroit Tigers won 3-0.
