I wrote my Cuppy’s Corner News Monday morning. Delia Atkinson got it later in the forenoon. I enjoyed the roast beef dinner and cake from the Manor kitchen. In the evening, I watched the Minnesota Twins play the Boston Red Sox.
Tuesday, I enjoyed the shredded pork sandwich and cheesecake from the Manor kitchen. Pastor Cheri visited me. At 6:30 p.m. I watched the Minnesota Twins play the Boston Red Sox. Boston won 8-5.
Wednesday July 30 I was hostess for our 9 a.m. coffee. I had green plates and colorful napkins. I served cinnamon rolls and snack mix of cheese crackers, and M&M candy, etc. Enjoying the food and fellowship were Joyce Mees, Luella Teveldal, Judy Baumgart, Kathy Brandenburg, Lorraine Schultz and the mail lady. Thanks to Lorraine Schultz for making and serving the coffee. I enjoyed the chicken dinner and ice cream from the Manor kitchen. Bingo was played at 2 p.m. Shirley Bender called the numbers. Enjoying the afternoon were Ruth Jensen, Joyce Mees, Marilyn Robbins, Darleen Cuppy, Luella Teveldal, and Judy Baumgart. In the evening, the Minnesota Twins played the Boston Red Sox. Boston won 6-1.
Thursday, I rode the bus with Joanne Grohs to Angie Mentzer’s beauty shop for my 10:30 a.m. appointment. I enjoyed the meatloaf dinner and brownies from the Manor kitchen. There was no Minnesota Twins game.
Friday was the first day of August. I enjoyed the shrimp dinner and brownies from the Manor kitchen. In the evening, I watched the Minnesota Twins play the Cleveland Guardians. Cleveland won 3-2 in the 10th inning!
Saturday, I enjoyed the Philly beef sandwich and peach sauce from the Manor kitchen. At 3 p.m. the Minnesota Twins played the Cleveland Guardians. Cleveland won again 5-4.
Sunday, Community Church service was held at the Senior Center. I enjoyed a pork dinner and pie from the Manor kitchen Sunday noon. I watched the Minnesota Twins play the Cleveland Guardians. The Twins won 5-4.
