I wrote my news Monday morning. Delia came to get it later in the forenoon. I enjoyed the hamburger, tator tots, green beans and peach sauce from the Manor kitchen.
Tuesday, I enjoyed the ham dinner and cake from the Manor kitchen. In the evening, I enjoyed watching “Dancing with the Stars” on TV.
Wednesday Luella Teveldal was hostess for our 9 a.m. coffee. She had pretty plates and napkins with pumpkins on them. She served delicious caramel rolls made by Marla Ness and party mix to pass around. Enjoying the food and fellowship were Joyce Mees, Darleen Cuppy, Lorraine Schultz, Judy Baumgart, Kathy Brandenburg and Millie our mail lady. Verla Barber stopped in to visit. I enjoyed the roast beef dinner and cherry dessert from the Manor kitchen. At 2 p.m. on Wednesday we played bingo. Shirley Bendercalledthenumbers. Enjoying the afternoon were Joyce Mees, Luella Teveldal, Doris Deneke, Darleen Cuppy, Marilyn Robbins, Judy Baumgart and Sandy Fuerst. Joyce Mees furnished delicious cookies for coffee.
Thursday, I rode the bus with Joanne Grohs for my 10 a.m. appointment at Angie Mentzer’s beauty shop for a perm. I enjoyed the pork chop dinner from the Manor kitchen.
Friday, I enjoyed noodle hot dish and banana cream pie. Mary Lou Cameron called to tell me the SDSU Lady Jacks play the Rice Owls at 7 p.m. on channel 32. The Lady Jacks won 79-65.
Saturday, we got a layer of snow! I enjoyed the BBQ ribs, baked beans, potato salad and peach sauce from the Manor kitchen.
Sunday, I watched the Christian Worship Hour with Pastor Salem on TV. I enjoyed the pork chop dinner and cherry pie from the Manor kitchen. The MN Vikings played Baltimore Ravens. Ravens won 27-19. My daughter Candi Sails came Sunday evening to visit and did several things for me.
