On Monday, April 6, 2026, Grandma ate breakfast cream of wheat, hard boiled egg, and blueberry muffin with a glass of chocolate milk. Grandma has been enjoying her tulips from Brian, Jullie, Carlie, and Berklie Bell. Grandma won 5 times at BINGO. Candi stopped out to visit. Grandma was happy that the TWINS won 7-3 over Detroit.
On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Grandma had oatmeal with raisins. In the afternoon, Grandma joined in with the others to decorate Easter cookies. Pastor Cheri stopped in to visit in the afternoon. Candi stopped to visit at 4:30pm. Cindy sent the remote for the digital photo frame. It is such a wonderful tool to be able to see all the photos of my family and also video chat with Cindy. MN Twins beat the Detroit Tigers 4-2. Becky got the play by play on Grandma’s tablet up as she doesn’t get that channel on her tv.
On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to grandson Mike Krueger. Becky is in Pierre for a workshop for school. Paige was very helpful to me today, as Grandma wasn’t feeling the best. She brought me chicken noodle soup to my room. The MN Twins beat Detroit 8-6.
Thursday, April 9, 2026, Grandma enjoyed a dish of fresh fruit and a bowl of cream of wheat, toast, and chocolate milk. Then she ate lunch. For supper she had tater-tot hotdish, green beans, and chocolate milk. The MN Twins won 3-1 this afternoon. Becky is still in Pierre for her workshop. Joyce Krueger took Mike and Becky to the Cone Zone for supper when Becky got back from Pierre to celebrate Mike’s birthday and the opening of the Cone Zone. On Friday, Grandma enjoyed BINGO at 2pm, and she was a big winner. She won five times. Supper was veggie beef soup, half a sandwich, with a small bowl of fruit. The MN Twins are now playing Toronto Blue Jays and came up short, losing that game 10-4.
On Saturday, April 11, 2026, Grandma had cocoa wheats and toast, sliced banana, and chocolate milk. For lunch, Grandma enjoyed a hot dog, macaroni and cheese, and tomato slices with a little sugar. For supper, she had soup and sandwich. The MN Twins beat Toronto 7-4. Becky went to Mitchell for Carlie Bell’s last show choir event. Becky joined Brian, Julie, and Berklie Bell, Connie Ness, and Brock Krueger and they all watched both of the Saturday performances. Becky and Brian’s aunt and uncle, Max and Linda Conkey, joined them for the 2pm performance. At the 7pm show, the parents of Friend De Coup performed their dance. Carlie and the other senior members were also recognized at the 7pm performance.
Sunday, April 12, 2026, Grandma enjoyed oatmeal with raisins for breakfast, along with a small cinnamon roll and juice. For lunch, Grandma ate pork roast, potatoes and gravy, green beans, and pie. Grandma attended church at 3pm, led by Pastor Mike Easter from the Baptist Church. She enjoyed the singing. Becky stopped and took Grandma outside to the patio to enjoy the fresh air, sunshine, and warm breeze before taking her to the dining hall for supper. Grandma ate tomato soup, grilled cheese sandwich, and pineapple. There was baseball on tv, the Cleveland Guardians versus the Atlanta Braves.
