On Monday, July 13, 2026, Grandma had hamburger with tater tots, green beans, and a cup of fruit. Bingo was enjoyed in the afternoon.
On Tuesday, July 14, 2026, Grandma had some visitors this morning. Casey, Cash, and Hendrix Cuppy of Phoenix, AZ, stopped to see Grandma on the way back to the airport in Sioux Falls. Mike, Becky, and Brock Krueger stopped out to say hello quick. They had been visiting Darryl and Nancy Cuppy of Harrold. For lunch, Grandma ate ham, au gratin potatoes, and cake.
On Wednesday, July 15, 2026, Cheryl came and ate lunch with Grandma. They enjoyed roast beef with boiled potatoes and gravy, carrots, and cherry dessert. Cheryl golfed and Grandma Dar went to Bingo.
On Thursday, July 16, 2026, lunch was meatloaf, mashed potatoes and peas with a cup of mandarin oranges.
On Friday, July 17, 2026, breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage, and waffles. Grandma ate chicken alfredo, breadstick, and a slice of banana cream pie for lunch. Becky stopped in after supper and Grandma told me that she won four times at Bingo. Supper was cheese ravioli with lettuce salad, and fruit.
On Saturday, July 18, 2026, after her breakfast of cream of wheat and fresh fruit, Becky took grandma outside to check the flower beds and for some fresh air. Grandma had a neck ache, so Becky tried to massage it a bit. While outside, we were able to FaceTime Darryl and Cindy. We enjoyed the breeze in the shade. For lunch Grandma ate ribs, baked beans, potato salad, and a cup of fresh fruit. Supper was sloppy joe, tri-tater, and corn.
On Sunday, July 19, 2026, Becky went out to visit Grandma after breakfast, which was cinnamon rolls and oatmeal and raisins. Then before lunch, Becky wheeled Grandma down to the family dining room as Grandma was getting lunch guests. Cathy, Ella, and Nora White of Sioux Falls came to visit Grandma, and they ate pork fritters, au gratin potatoes, veggies, and blueberry pie. Becky left after lunch as they were heading to Hayes, SD, for the Owls vs 4-Corners baseball game at 4 p.m. Brock got his first amateur home run in the 13-8 loss out in the 102-degree heat on the wide-open prairie. The last regular season game for the Owls was Tuesday, July 21 at 8 p.m. as they hosted Winner at David Jost Memorial Field. Then post season play begins on Saturday, July 25, for the Pony Hills League in Chamberlain.
