MAKE YOUR HEART SOAR

RANDY BURNISON, MEMBER WESSINGTON SPRINGS METHODIST CHURCH

Text Isaiah 40:28-31. “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God,the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary, and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Hope this will help your mind in being committed to going to church. If we just worship only, life becomes mundane but if we do more than worship by carrying God’s word each and every day with us, everything becomes significant. We have a stairway to climb that goes two directions God coming from one way and you from the other to meet in glory of serving the Lord. Your Heart will only Soar if you worship with intensity and interaction with God. This happened to me when I went on my first mission trip to have the passion to serve the Lord more than what I was already doing. At the General Area Charge Conference in Mitchell this year, being in the holiness of hearing God’s word, praying for things to heal, I was prayed over by Pastor Zach. It was an eye opener for me as you need that from time to time. So, take time to worship and adore him and your heart will SOAR on wings like eagles!!

Dear God help us to desire you in deeper ways day by day. May we share your sweetness as we pour your love onto others. Amen.
