The South Dakota legislature is a part time legislature

The South Dakota le gislature is a part time legislature, made of every day regular folks like you and me. Some have full-time jobs, like myself, and some are retired. This is my first term serving in the legislature; it’s both an honor and a privilege.

For almost a year, the school district has been working with the SDSU Extension 4-H Program office to explore using locally produced foods in our school nutrition program. This idea began when Audra Scheel brought a USDA Farm to School grant opportunity to the district.
