Tournament held in memory of fallen fireman Michial Brodkorb
All 35 teams competing in the annual “Fire in the Hole” Golf Tournament posed for a group photo in front of a Wessington Springs Fire Department truck at Springs Country Club on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026 The event, hosted by the Wessington Springs Fire Department, brought together golfers, sponsors, and community members for a day of fun, friendly competition, and support for a good cause. Proceeds from the tournament will help fund the community’s Fourth of July fireworks celebration. The tournament also honored fallen WSVFD firefighter Michial Brodkorb.
