Donna Rae Memorial Tournament Raises Over $1,000 for cart shed addition

The Donna Rae Memorial 9-Hole Best Ball Golf Tournament raised more than $1,000 for the Springs Country Club during the annual fundraiser July 17.

According to organizer Regina Teveldal, the proceeds will help fund an addition to the club's new cart shed, including storage space for the Wessington Springs Spartan golf team. The tournament honors Donna Rae and her commitment to giving back to the community.

In the championship flight, Chad Thompson and Brian Kolousek claimed first with a 34, followed by Jill and Todd Braun (35) and Camden Jost and Cayden Slykhuis (35).

Sean McDannel and Pat Law won the first flight with a 39. Jerry Orth and Jason Schley finished second on a tiebreaker, followed by Kim Orth and Jessie Schley, also at 39.

Jason and Liza Kolousek topped the second flight with a 41. Maddie Neely and Allison Jameson also shot 41 to place second, while Nantie and Minette Bothma finished third with a 42.
