The Wessington Springs Volunteer Fire Department Fireworks Fund was filled a bit more last month thanks to the fire department’s annual Fire in the Hole golf tournament. Thirty teams golfed in the 18-hole, two-man scramble tourney, with Wessington Springs emerging as the victor of the traveling firemen’s trophy between Alpena, Woonsocket and Wessington Springs.
