The Wolsey-Wessington varsity girls basketball team earned a home win Tuesday, Feb. 3, defeating Kimball/White Lake 58-44. Shae Uttecht led the Lady Warbirds with 17 points, followed closely by Taylor Eichstadt with 16.
On Saturday, Feb. 7, Wolsey-Wessington came up just short in a 43-41 loss to Sanborn Central/Woonsocket. Uttecht again led the scoring with 16 points, while Kendal Uttecht added nine and Raya Toupal finished with seven.
