Class B No. 8 Wessington Springs extended its winning streak to five games Saturday with a 55-47 victory over No. 2 Viborg-Hurley at the DWU/ Culver’s Classic.
Senior forward Colby Flowers (pictured) recorded 17 points and 12 rebounds. Logan Mebius paced the scoring with 19 points, while Luke Larson added 11 and Parker Graff had eight.
The win followed a 60-46 home victory Thursday night over Hitchcock-Tulare as the Spartans continue to build momentum late in the season.
