Teeners set sights on state tournaments

17U heads to Britton this weekend 14U prepares for July 24 tournament in Gregory

    The Wessington Springs 17U Teeners played Monday night in Gregory and now turn their attention to the South Dakota VFW Varsity Bravo Division State Tournament in Britton. Wessington Springs opens pool play Friday with games at 2:30 p.m. against Britton and 5:30 p.m. against Gregory, followed by a 1:30 p.m. game Saturday against the Tri-County Sundogs. 

    Tournament play continues Saturday evening and Sunday based on seeding. 

    The Wessington Springs 14U Teeners also played Monday night in Gregory and will now prepare for the South Dakota VFW 14U State Tournament, which begins July 24 in Gregory. 

    The South Dakota VFW 7th-9th Delta Division State Tournament, begins July 24 in Gregory. Wessington Springs opens pool play Friday with games at 12:30 p.m. against the Claremont Honkers and 6:30 p.m. against Gregory. Bracket play continues Saturday and concludes Sunday based on tournament results.
