The 2025 Wessington Springs High School Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees have been announced and will be recognized at the Spartan’s home doubleheader basketball game vs. Tripp/Delmont/ Armour, Saturday afternoon, February 8 in between the girls varsity and boys varsity games.
Inductees are: Chris Long, Mike Mebius, Kris VanBockern Warwick and Mindy Kraft Zillinger.
The Hall of Fame program was created by WSHS Class of 2021 alumni Dylan Schimke, as his senior project, with the first year’s nominees inducted in February 2022. The WSHS Athletic Hall of Fame committee is made up of local volunteers including Lynn Horsley, Julie Kraft, Mike Mebius and Craig Wenzel.
