“This was a very tough game,” said WWSSC Head Coach Michael Schmitz. “The Blackhawks fought hard to the very end. We had some opportunities but couldn’t capitalize on enough of them.”

Holden Havlik led the Blackhawk offense with 237 yards and a score on 14 of 26 passing. Ryder Michalek had eight catches for 100 yards while Colby Flowers caught two passes for 33 yards and one score.

Tyson Eddy carried the ball 10 times for 46 yards to lead the Blackhawks rushing. Colby Flowers had nine tackles and an interception.

“The kids will bounce back for the first round of the playoffs,” stated Schmitz. "We took another step forward as a program. I am very proud of this team and can’t wait to see what we do next.”
