On Tuesday, August 29, 2023, the Spartans traveled to Salem to participate in McCook/Montrose Cross-Country Meet. The kids were dealt “unhealthy” conditions to run in as it was hot, humid, and smokey from the Canadian wildfires. It put allergies into overdrive and added a level of throat irritation to those new to running.
