New for 2024 Golf Season at the Springs Country Club was the creation of a Junior League for boys and girls ages 14 to 18.
With 10 teams registered, they began their league play the week of June 17 and played through Aug. 12. Working around summer jobs, sports activities and vacations presented a challenge, but they figured out how to make it work.
Results from the firstever Junior League season can be found below:
• Champions Girls: Taylor Braun and Addi Barthalow
• Champion Boys: JD Thompson and Heyns Bothma
• Reserve Champion Girls: Tatianna Roberts and Jalyn Grassel
• Reserve Champion Boys: Luke Larson and Ethan Amick
• Robbie Hine and Karter Mebius received the Most Improved Awards.
The Junior League would like to thank Gloria Vavra for figuring handicaps, keeping scores and teaching them how to fill out their score cards correctly.
