Wessington Springs High School (WSHS) student Holden Havlik is providing a football training opportunity for area youth at a football camp scheduled for Nov. 17 for both 12U and 14U student athletes.
He said he knows firsthand how difficult finding a local camp can be, especially for youth in rural areas.
“I am putting together this camp for local kids who cannot travel to Sioux Falls for training. Finding local camps and training is extremely rare, and I want to allow our youth athletes to attend a football camp,” Havlik explained. “It is important to me because I know what it’s like to be from a rural area, trying to find some sort of training.”
