The Wessington Springs Spartans girls basketball team began their season this past Tuesday by visiting Wolsey-Wessington. The Spartans got off to a good start and led 8-5 early in the first quarter. However, Wolsey-Wessington got hot and went on a 16-4 run to end the quarter and take a 21-12 lead.
