    Thirty-seven teams of dedicated golfers went on to complete the 15th Annual Blue and Gold Golf Tournament held Saturday July 1, 2023 at the Springs Country Club in Wessington Springs.

    Golfers enjoyed 18-holes and a free-will offering lunch with all proceeds from the tourney supporting the Spartan Booster Club. New this year, students were allowed to participate as long as they had an adult as a partner, drawing plenty of Spartans of all ages to the course for the event.

    Results were as follows:

    Championship flight:

    • First place - Eric Sazue and Keith Fleury (55)

    • Second place - Mark and Larry Keeton (59)

    • Third place - Jay Fischer and Neal Hoffman (59)

    First flight:

    • First place - Austin Messmer and Trevor Olson (67)

    • Second place - Kevin and Masynn Mebius (69)

    • Third place - Coy Fasnacht and Jacob Messmer (69)

    Second flight:

    • First place - Jason Briley and Bob Mott (69)

    • Second place - Jerald Jandreau and Daniel Ziegler (70)

    • Third place - Brian Amick and Regina Teveldal (70)

    Third flight

    • First place - Jake Krohmer and Bailey Willman (74)

    • Second place - Todd and Jill Braun (76)

    • Third place - Wade and Kim Severtson (79)
