Wessington Springs took down Iroquois/ Lake Preston 62-42. Four Spartans were in double figures, led by Parker Graff’s 17 points. Colby Flowers had 12 points, Blake Larson had 11 points and Ryder Michalek had 10 points for WS.
Wessington Springs 73, Lower Brule 65
The Wessington Springs Spartans, ranked fifth in the most recent Class “B” poll, pulled out a road victory over the Lower Brule Sioux, 73-65. The Sioux fall to 9-6, while the Spartans move to 13-1.
Four Spartans finished the game in double-figure scoring, led by Parker Graff with 26, including eight from three-point range. Ryder Michalek added 16.
Brock Krueger added 12 for Springs while Blake Larson had 10 points and nine rebounds.
Wessington Springs 65, Tripp-Delmont/Armour 53
The Wessington Springs Spartans pushed their season record to 14-1 with a 65-53 victory over the Tripp-Delmont/Armour Nighthawks on Saturday February 3 in Armour.
The Spartans were led by Ryder Michalek with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists.
Brock Krueger added 13 points for Springs while Blake Larson scored 12 and Parker Graff added 10.
