Set a Place at the Festival of Tables

Festival of Tables organizers are happy to announce the return of the Festival of Tables Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Senior/Community Center in Wessington Springs. The Tenth Annual event will feature beautifully set tables, entertainment, delicious food, fellowship and a May Basket silent auction.

National Library Week is April 23-29, 2023. The theme for this year is “There's More to the Story.” To celebrate the story of the community’s historical Carnegie Library, the library board and staff will be hosting an open house on Friday, April 28 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

P.E.O. Scholarship Available for WSHS Senior Girls

The local Chapter D of P.E.O. will once again offer a scholarship to a graduating senior girl from Wessington Springs High School. The 2022-2023 Scholarship will be $750. All senior girls who plan to pursue post-high school education are encouraged to apply.

Future Dakota State Trojan Basketball Player Leaves Her Mark on the Wessington Springs Basketball Program

BY RILEY RODUNER WSHS senior, Kirstie Munsen, has been playing basketball her entire life and has committed to play college basketball at Dakota State University in Madison. “I have been playing basketball forever and I knew that I wanted to include it in my senior project,” said Munsen.
