Three Wessington Springs Elementary School students received some exciting news and cash in the mail after discovering they were the winners of awards at the South Dakota State Fair for essays they had written in the previous school year.

Holiday Spectacular kicks off week-long “celebrate and support local” effort

The fifth annual Holiday Spectacular set the stage again this year for a bustling night of local shopping, food and fellowship. Friends and families strolled together along Main Street with bags from local shopkeepers in hand, greeting neighbors and sipping hot chocolate.

Oral Interpretation Students Advance to Compete at Districts

On Wednesday, November 2, three Wessington Springs High School (WSHS) sophomores competed in the District Oral Interpretation Contest in Huron at James Valley Christian School.
