Pint-Sized Sparklers Pack Plenty of Spirit

With the goal of getting younger kids moving their bodies and having fun during winter months, local women and moms Sara Cashman, Chelsea Waters and Emma Wilde banded together to launch the return of the Sparklers cheer team.

The 29-student roster, shown above during practice at the American Legion, is made up of: Devin Van Dyke, Cara Van Dyke, Britton Van Dyke, Jana Wilde, Presley Wilde, Lucy Cashman, Rhaelyn Waters, Haizley Harmdierks, Harlowe Harmdierks, Kenzley Schuh, Memphis Hanson, Torree Olinger, Peyton Frazier, Quinn Everson, Harper Sealey, Dally Nickels, Drew Duxbury, Evelyn Duxbury, Kinslee Baumgart, Chole Barber, Harper Haake, Mary Tanke, Paislee Couch, Raven Richardson, Violet Jackson, Ryklynn Reiner, Crawliegh Reiner, Hannah Wenzel and Tatum Powell.

The Sparklers will be performing at the double header basketball game on January 27 at approximately 2 p.m. and also February 6 and 8 during the halftime of the varsity game.
