Eleven local FFA members are among 418 students from 86 chapters across South Dakota selected to receive their own FFA jackets this fall through the South Dakota FFA Foundation’s Blue Jackets Bright Futures program. Students applied by answering essay questions about their FFA experiences and goals.
Wessington Springs recipients are Avery Stegeman, Bailey Mentele, Charlee Holt, Chaz Larson, Mauer Jones, Roslyn Klein and Selah Havlik.
Wolsey- Wessington recipients are Eastlyn Burton, Kenley Miedema, Mya Flemming and Roman Hines.
The jackets were made possible through sponsorships from individuals and organizations supporting the South Dakota FFA Foundation program.
