Earlier in 2021, Twila donated one of her kidney’s to the National Kidney Bank in order to advance Greg’s position on the kidney transplant list and give the gift of life to another person in need of a kidney.
On their wedding day, January 21, 1984, Twila Vavra declared to support her husband Greg in sickness and in health — and now, nearly four decades later, she continues to deliver on that promise.
