WSHS Student Helps Spread Christmas Cheer with Senior Project

The holidays were a little brighter at the Avera Weskota Manor this year, thanks to Wessington Springs High School (WSHS) senior, Kennedy Kolousek. For her senior project, Kolousek organized an angel tree to help create a little holiday magic for the Manor residents.

Community Fireworks Show Welcomes 2025 With a Bang

Right on cue just before 6 p.m. on December 31, 2024, droves of vehicles made a beeline to parking lots on the south end of Wessington Springs to delight in a visual feast of big rockets and thunderous booms that lit up the skies above South Gulch in Wessington Springs.
