Wessington Springs Cracker Barrel offers District 20 legislative update

District 20 legislators Rep. Kaley Nolz and Sen. Paul Miskimins met with area residents Saturday, Feb. 21, during a Cracker Barrel held at the Springs Inn Cafe in Wessington Springs.The event was sponsored by the Jerauld County Farmers Union and the Jerauld/Sanborn/Aurora County Farm Bureau.

Wessington Springs Featured at Governor’s Tourism Conference for Destination Development Work

Wessington Springs’ Destination Development efforts were highlighted on a statewide stage last month as Troy Duxbury presented at the South Dakota Governor’s Conference on Tourism.
Wessington Springs High School will host a public open house for its newly renovated ag shop and newly constructed ag lab on Thursday, March 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. Community members are invited to tour the updated facilities, see recent improvements and learn more about how the spaces are being used for hands-on agricultural education.
