On Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the Spartans track and field team traveled to Corsica for the Jaguar Invitational.
In girls’ field events, Anna Arhart placed second in shot put with a throw of 33’5”, while Josie Arhart threw 22’ 6¾” and Kaycee Scheel 17’3”. In discus, Anna Arhart finished fourth with 89’4”, followed by Josie Arhart at 55’6” and Scheel at 40 feet.
On the track, Aunnika Heumiller placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in 20.33 and again took fourth in the 300-meter hurdles in 56.63. In the 100-meter dash, Kaycee Scheel ran 16.19 and Josie Arhart 16.50.
The 800 relay team of Kendall Kolousek, Brooke Mohling, Logan Mohling and Kenzie Kolousek placed fifth in 1:59.40, while the same group took third in the medley relay in 4:34.10. The mile relay team of Kendall Kolousek, Aunikka Heumiller, Logan Mohling and Kenzie Kolousek finished fifth in 4:35.65.
Masynn Mebius placed fifth in the mile run in 17:30.39 and third in the two-mile run in 16:39.85. In the 200-meter dash, Brooke Mohling ran 31.83 and Scheel 34.43.
For the boys, Grady Gran won the shot put with a throw of 41’ 5.75” and added a personal-best 111’6” in discus. In long jump, Casen Waters recorded 16’1” and Grason Finn 15’7.5”. Wesley Molnar threw 108’5” in javelin, while Keaton Hasty and Chase Wenzel competed in high jump.
The two-mile relay team of Sutten Jensen, Ezra Anson, Grason Finn and Ethan Heumiller ran 10:08.76. In the 100-meter dash, Wesley Molnar ran 12.50, Casen Waters 12.91, Nolan Schaller 13.07 and Zandon Beyer 14.61.
The 800 relay team of Max Mebius, Carson Finn, Will Grohs and Logan Mebius placed second in 1:38.05, while Sutten Jensen won the mile run in 5:12.63. The 400 relay team of Casen Waters, Grason Finn, Nolan Schaller and Ezra Anson placed sixth in 52.10.
In the 400-meter dash, Logan Mebius placed fifth in 55.30, followed by Will Grohs in 56.08, Max Mebius in 58.21 and Zandon Beyer with a personal-best 1:08.36. The medley relay team of Wesley Molnar, Nolan Schaller, Keaton Hasty and Jensen placed sixth in 4:21.72.
Ezra Anson ran 2:33.53 in the 800-meter run. In the 200-meter dash, Carson Finn placed fifth in 24.87, followed by Molnar in 25.73, Waters in 26.81 and Wenzel in 28.34. Ethan Heumiller placed third in the two-mile run in 13:12.31. The mile relay team of Max Mebius, Carson Finn, Grohs and Logan Mebius won in 3:43.92.
On Friday, April 24, the Spartans competed at the Greenway Relays in Mount Vernon.
Anna Arhart placed third in shot put with a throw of 34’ 8.75”, while Josie Arhart threw 24’ 4.75”. In discus, Anna Arhart placed fourth with 100’1”, and Josie Arhart threw 57’4”.
The two-mile relay team of Kenzie Kolousek, Annika Heumiller, Kendall Kolousek and Ella Kolousek placed fifth in 11:17.05. Heumiller placed eighth in the 100-meter hurdles in 20.19, and Josie Arhart ran 17.06 in the 100-meter dash. The 800 relay team of Kendall Kolousek, Brooke Mohling, Logan Mohling and Ella Kolousek ran 2:04.10.
Kenzie Kolousek won the 400-meter dash in 59.31, just one-hundredth of a second off the meet record of 59.30. Alexis Roesler ran 1:21.47 in the same event.
The medley relay team of Brooke Mohling, Ella Kolousek, Logan Mohling and Heumiller placed seventh in 5:05.16. In the 800-meter run, Kenzie Kolousek placed third in 2:25.45, and Roesler ran 3:19.31. Brooke Mohling ran 31.35 in the 200-meter dash.
The mile relay team of Logan Mohling, Kenzie Kolousek, Kendall Kolousek and Ella Kolousek placed sixth in 4:33.36.
In boys’ field events, Grady Gran threw 40’ 7.5” and Jaspur Gran 40’ 3.5” to place fourth and fifth in shot put. In discus, Grady Gran threw 108’0” and Jaspur Gran 90’7”. Wesley Molnar threw 122’1” in javelin, while Casen Waters jumped 15’ 6.75” in long jump. Carson Finn cleared 5’9” to tie for fourth in high jump, and Keaton Hasty cleared 5’1”.
The two-mile relay team of Max Mebius, Sutten Jensen, Ezra Anson and Nolan Schaller placed fifth in 9:24.44. In the 100-meter dash, Waters ran 13.08 and Wenzel 13.92. The 800 relay team of Wesley Molnar, Carson Finn, Will Grohs and Logan Mohling placed fourth in 1:36.79. Ethan Heumiller ran 5:47.43 in the mile run.
The 400 relay team of Waters, Grason Finn, Schaller and Anson ran 51.36. In the 400-meter dash, Max Mebius ran 57.41 and Keaton Hasty 1:01.04. Grason Finn competed in the 300-meter hurdles for the first time, finishing in 50.50 for eighth place.
The medley relay team of Wesley Molnar, Carson Finn, Will Grohs and Logan Mebius placed second in 3:45.84. In the 200-meter dash, Nolan Schaller ran 27.69, Ezra Anson 27.75 and Wenzel 28.32. Sutten Jensen ran a personal-best 11:18.45 in the 3200-meter run for fifth place. The mile relay team of Carson Finn, Max Mebius, Grohs and Logan Mebius placed second in 3:40.50.
The Spartans now await selections for the Howard Wood Dakota Relays on May 1–2.
