Jerauld/Buffalo County Farmers Union hosted a youth day camp July 10 in Wessington Springs, where campers learned about the history of cooperatives and the role of agriculture in the food system. Through games, interactive lessons and crafts, participants explored how food moves from the field to the grocery store. Campers also decorated tea towels with the Farmers Union logo and farm-themed stamps as this year's craft project.
