Eileen Kaye Wilson, beloved wife, mother, and sister, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the age of 79. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Basham Funeral Services in Wessington Springs. Burial will follow at the Salem Cemetery, rural Wessington Springs. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
She was born in South Dakota on October 1, 1944, to Fred and Anna Marie (Buskohl) Brass. Eileen’s life was defined by love, dedication, and unwavering strength.
As a devoted stayat- home mom, Eileen poured her heart and soul into nurturing her seven daughters, Rayna Beyler, Tonya Jost, Alicia Miller, JoAnna Wilson, Ingrid Colona, Hilda Wilson, and Mary Kogel. Her boundless love and selflessness created a warm and loving home where her family flourished. Eileen’s legacy lives on through the strong, compassionate, and independent women her daughters have become.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, stepmom Lola Brass, her dear sister Betty Trupe, her daughter Alicia Miller, and her beloved husband, Ronald Wilson. While she may have left this world, her memory will forever be cherished by her surviving daughters, 18 grand-children, 19 greatgrandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Eileen’s life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and family bonds. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, gentle demeanor, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. Though she may be gone, her love and legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives she touched.
