    After defeating the Chamberlain Mallards 11-0 on Tuesday, July 30, the Springs Owls punched their ticket to the Class B Amateur Baseball State Tournament, held August 7 - 18 at Caldwell Park in Mitchell.In the first game of the state tournament, the Owls took on the Akron, IA, Rebels on Wednesday, August 7.Right off the bat, the Owls got on the board in the top of the first inning...
