LETTERBOX: WSHS Students Share Letters of Appreciation During American Education Week

Dear Editor,
This week is American Education Week. I would like to thank our public school educators. We have a very good teaching staff here at the high school, and I am greatly appreciative of them. There is not a single class throughout the day that I dread. I feel that every class, our teachers do the best they can to educate us. We are very fortunate to have the teaching staff that we do, and I don’t know where I would be without them.

Dear Editor,
It is American Education Week. I would like to thank all the bus drivers, cooks, and teachers. Thank you bus drivers for transporting kids safely from school to their home or from the high school to the elementary school. Without the cooks we would have nothing to eat, so thank you cooks for making meals for the students. Thank you, teachers, for all that you do for the students and for putting up with us. At times I don’t really understand how you guys have the patience to put up with us. Thanks again everyone!

Dear Editor,
It’s American Education Week, and I think it's important to thank and appreciate all educators. I also would like to thank the bus drivers. They wake up early every morning, bring kids to school, bring us to lunch, and people back home every day. This job is important for our school, and I am thankful these people do it. Another big part of our school is the community. They support our activities such as sports and our arts. They also come to our fundraisers and support our school by volunteering and donations. Thank you for your support.

Dear Editor,
For this American Education week there are many people to thank, specifically education workers and the community. Though we often miss a few people when we are celebrating, and no one wants to feel left out. This week should include everyone from teachers to cooks to janitors, all should be appreciated.
Some are sometimes forgotten like bus drivers, who are most important of all. Bus drivers take the children to school and must remember where everyone lives and who to pick up or drop off. It requires memory and time organization to get to school on time without any accidents but also firmness, so kids stay in line. They must get up early before the sun rises and go pick up the first kid on their route. Bus drivers also are responsible for dropping kids off at lunch from the high school to the elementary school and bringing them back up and getting them home safely.
Bus drivers make up a great part of the community and school. They are the backbone that is often forgotten but without them everything would collapse. I think everyone should be grateful that we have many bus drivers that do their job and take kids to school. I also think that they are often taken for granted but should be treated with respect and kindness.

Dear Editor,
It is American Education Week, and I would like thank Ms. Bern for coming across the seas to teach us students. It is such an honor to have her as our teacher. Our school has such a good math teacher. We are so grateful for her teaching us.
