She loved to cook and bake. She adored her husband and family and thoroughly enjoyed preparing large meals for gatherings. While married to Edward, they enjoyed puzzles, canning, gardening, and collecting antiques. Juanita also had a green thumb and loved her plants. She had a collection of angels, owls, hummingbirds, stuffed animals (especially teddy bears), and loved painting figurines. She loved spending holidays together with Edward when their grandchildren were little. Christmas was her favorite holiday, where she made baking cut out sugar cookies to frost and decorate a family tradition. Juanita had a huge heart and was very kind and sweet. She would always compliment everyone even after being diagnosed with Alzheimers. She loved animals and her two most recent fur babies, Domino and Angel, could always be found by her side.
