Caroline Larson, 94, of Wessington Springs passed away Sunday, December 18 at the Weskota Manor Avera Nursing Home in Wessington Springs. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 30, 2 p.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Joyce Beckman, 96, of Wessington Springs passed away early Sunday morning, June 25 at the Weskota Manor Avera nursing home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1 at the United Methodist Church in Wessington Springs. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Wessington Springs.

Kerry Keith Michael Lutter was born June 17, 1952 in Mitchell, SD to Bernard and Clara (Kortmeyer) Lutter. He attended Plainview Country School walking up hill both ways for one day. Following the closing of the country school, he went to Gann Valley Elementary School.

Judson Dwyer was born in Wessington Springs, South Dakota on July 21,1949 to Burl Ellsworth Dwyer and Goldie Evelyn Burke. He was the youngest of his three living siblings, Marlene Lunsman of Roseville, MN, Jim Dwyer of Walla Walla, WA and Gene Dwyer of Aurora, CO.

Gaylord Rhey Brandenburg, age 90, of Alpena, South Dakota passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Weskota Manor Nursing Home, Wessington Springs, South Dakota. Gaylord was the only child of George and Myrtle Brandenburg. He was born on May 23, 1933 in Sioux City, Iowa.

Janice Ann Rausch, 88, Aberdeen, died Friday, May 12, 2023 at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen. Janice Ann, daughter of Clara (Wirtz) and Henry J. Simon, was born September 2, 1934 at Hoven. Other than her fourth-grade year when her family lived in Raymond, Iowa, Janice grew up in Hoven.
