Marion Faye Meyer 93, of White Lake, SD formally of Wessington Springs, gained her wings on Wednesday afternoon at the Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell. Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday November 30 at the Basham Funeral Chapel in Wessington Springs.

Arliss Bennett

Arliss Bennett, 84, of WessingtonSprings,SD,died Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Aurora-Brule Nursing Home in White Lake. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 14, at Wessington Springs United Methodist Church. Burial was at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Wessington Springs.

Donald Fay Knigge Sr. passed away peacefully in the presence of family on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 81 years of age. Don was born on May 6 of 1941 in Wessington Springs, SD. He was one of seven children born to August and Alta Knigge.

Gerald W. Klaas, 83, Woonsocket, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Prairie View Care Center, Woonsocket, under hospice care, with his family by his side. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 4 at 1 p.m.

Gladys Marie Clemetson (Deneke), 77, of Rapid City, passed away Tuesday afternoon October 11, 2022, at the Arrowhead Nursing Home with family by her side. A celebration of life was held Saturday October 15, at Community Lutheran Church in Hill City, SD. Burial followed at Hill City Cemetery.

Marilyn Tounsley

Marilyn June Tounsley, age 80, passed away on October 27, 2022, in Wessington Springs. Marilyn was born to Joy and Donald Olson in DeSmet SD in 1942. She was raised on the family farm along with her three sisters.
